Hyatt Regency Cincinnati Associates Donate Money and Goods to Matthew 25
Cincinnati (April 18, 2012) – The Hyatt Regency Cincinnati presented a check for $1,000 and boxes of non-perishable foods and paper products to Matthew 25: Ministries on Thursday, April 19. Representatives from the hotel visited the Matthew 25: Ministries Blue Ash location to deliver the money and goods. The money and items are to be given to tornado victims. The hotel held a drive for non-perishable food items and paper products that the associates donated to in addition to donating money in response to the tornado that affected the Ohio Valley area in March.
These efforts are a key tenet of Hyatt Thrive and part of Hyatt’s inaugural global volunteer initiative, which brings Hyatt associates from around the world together in a common effort to volunteer in the communities where they call home.
Hyatt Thrive empowers over 85,000 Hyatt associates at more than 450 properties around the world to help communities do one thing – Thrive – by focusing on four areas: environmental sustainability; economic development and investment; education and personal advancement; and health and wellness.
The volunteer work also coincides with a long-standing tradition of celebrating Hyatt associates around the world. Celebrating community and its people is a global demonstration of Hyatt’s dedication to thriving communities where associates live and work.
